Sending a message to the government and showcasing their power in the capital, the Federal Alliance (FA) are staging demonstrations at various strategic location of the capital.
Moving on with the protest on the third day, they have shifted their protest to Baluwatar.
As off now reports state clashes broke out in-between the protesters and security personnel at baluwatar where Protesters tried to enter the prohibited zone near the Prime Minister’s residence.

After protesting outside Singha Durbar for two consecutive days, the Federal Alliance yesterday were reportedly seen chanting anti-government slogans and attacked two public.

Prime Minister K.P Sharma Oil has been quoted saying, “The constitution could be amended but it could not be rewritten as it has been endorsed by more than 90% of the Constituent Assembly Members. The PM urged the protesters to join the reconstruction drive instead of wasting time protesting .”

A large number of security personnel were deployed on the streets to prevent agitators from destroying public property and confrontation.

The alliance of 30 parties, including the constituents of United Democratic Madhesi Front, started the protest program to pressure the government to approve their demands regarding the  proportional representation and rewriting of the recently promulgated constitution.
