Free-tibetMarch 11 Kathmandu Nepal: 9 Tibetan Refugees have been arrested in- front of the Chinese embassy marking the 55th anniversary of the Free Tibet Campaign on Monday.
According to the Nepal police, “ 4 women were arrested from Swayambhu, three from Durbarmarg and two from Hattisar were while trying to protest. The arrested have been identified as Sonam Tashi, Sonam Chodung, Kansang Poldon, Mingma, Apa, Jigned Lama, Suzil Lama, Tanzim Padma, and Padma Dolma.”

With such tension securities have been tightened around areas near to Swayambhu, Bouddhanath and Naxal Hattisar.

March 10 is celebrated as the anniversary of Free Tibet Movement as on March 10, 1959 Dalai Lama, Tibetan’s spiritual leader, exiled from Tibet from the uprising of the one China movement.
