Securing a 338 votes KP Sharma Oli CPN-UML Chairman was declared the 38th prime Minister of Nepal. He defeated Nepali Congress (NC) President Sushil Koirala. Koirala secured 249 votes, from the 587 lawmakers participating in the voting.
